Beginning in 2022, the APA Board of Directors will annually induct into the Hall of Fame producers who have achieved significant success with their film and television projects and/or have contributed to the development of the production profession and have always strengthened its credit through their actions and/or have made a significant contribution to the work of the Audiovisual Producers´ Association. Induction into the Hall of Fame is decided by a vote of the APA Board of Directors.
Rules for induction into the APA Producers Hall of Fame.
The first producer to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, APA's first chairman, Jiří Ježek, was inducted at the APA Party at 56. Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on July 3, 2022.
A short documentary about Mr. Ježek was screened on Monday, July 4 at 3:00 p.m. at KVIFF.TV Park, followed by a discussion.
On 2 July 2023, Jaromír Kallista, producer of The Faust Lesson and Otesánek and famous Laterna Magika productions, was inducted into the Producers' Hall of Fame at the Karlovy Vary IFF.
